Maintenance / General Mechanic
Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time General Maintenance Mechanic (PM Shift) to support our mission of “Caring People, Changing Lives.” This is more than just a maintenance role—it’s a chance to directly contribute to the comfort, safety, and healing environment of our patients, families, and staff.

12pm–8:30pm with flexibility

What You’ll Do:
Perform a wide range of building, electrical, mechanical, and grounds maintenance tasks to ensure continuous facility operations.
Serve as the primary advisor on mechanical systems and components, keeping everything from pumps to electrical systems in top condition.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems with hands-on problem-solving that makes a real difference in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2+ years of maintenance-related experience.
Licensure: Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, pump/valve repair, electrical test equipment, HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and more. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Ability to bend, stoop, lift a minimum of 25 lbs., climb steps and ladders, and walk for extended periods.
Able to perform under stress, especially during emergency situations.
Ability to problem-solve with limited variables in standard situations.
Strong vision, color vision, and depth perception required.
