___________________________________ Often referred to as “moving meditation,” the slow, graceful and flowing movements of Tai Chi are known for providing enormous health benefits for people of various age groups and health conditions. A number of studies have demonstrated the positive effects of Tai Chi on individuals with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Fibromyalgia, Stroke, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, and Spinal Cord Injury. The health benefits of practicing Tai Chi include: Tai Chi is safe for everyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, and can be modified for most health problems. People with limited mobility – even those in wheelchairs – can learn and successfully use Tai Chi.
