Our outpatient clinic in Hixson is just 10 miles north of our main campus.

Located at Northgate Mall, the clinic serves Hixson and the north-of-the-river community.
Physical, occupational and speech therapies are available.

Meet Ross Von Glahn, the clinic manager at our Hixson Outpatient Therapy Services:

Our Therapists

Ross Von Glahn, PT, DPT

Ross is clinic manager at Hixson Outpatient Therapy Services. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics with a biomedical concentration, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. While he is accustomed to treating a wide variety of conditions, he has a passion for treating orthopedic conditions such as pain in the low back, neck, shoulder, and knee; temporomandibular joint dysfunction; and foot/ankle pain with a focus on manual therapy.

David Williams, OTR/L, CHT

Dave received an Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Miami University in Ohio. He received a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. He is a Certified Hand Therapist and specializes in Hand and Upper Extremity Therapy, Myofascial Pain, and Stroke and Brain Injury. David has more than 27 years of experience in therapy, 18 of which has been as a certified hand therapist specializing in treating conditions, both traumatic and repetitive, of the neck, thoracic outlet, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. He’s worked with clients at Tulane University Hospital and Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine in New Orleans, and Tufts University Hospital in Boston. He also completed a year of voluntary practice in Guatemala and is fluent in Spanish.

Cara Richman, MA, MS, CCC-SLP

Cara is a speech-language pathologist who earned her bachelor’s in English from UTC and an MA in writing and linguistics from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She received her MS in speech-language pathology from Western Kentucky University. She specializes in cognitive-linguistic deficits, swallowing impairments, and adult voice disorders. She is certified in LSVT-Loud, McNeill Dysphagia Therapy, and Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia, and What’s Next?: Routine-Based Intervention for Adults with Cognitive Deficits.
