Because of Siskin Hospital, I can cheer them on.

    - Bill Anderson

Severe chest pains at 4 a.m. sent Bill and Lisa Anderson rushing to the hospital. Doctors quickly learned that Bill had suffered an aortic aneurysm and needed emergency surgery to save his life. But that was just the beginning of the long and terrifying journey for Bill and his family. The severity of the surgery and complications that followed kept Bill in intensive care for seven weeks.

When it came time for rehabilitation, there was only one choice for the Anderson family - Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation, where nurses, therapists and doctors worked with Bill every step of the way to regain the abilities he had lost. Throughout his rehabilitation, Bill's number one goal for his therapy was to be strong enough to stand on the sidelines and cheer for his son Will at the first lacross game of his senior season. He also wanted to be there for his daughter Alison's all-state track meets.

The Anderson family credits Dr. Rob Headrick and the team at Memorial Hospital for saving Bill's life and the team at Siskin Hospital for helping him resume his spot as Will and Alison's biggest and loudest fan.

Because of Siskin Hsopital, I CAN.
