Dr. Chris Young to present at Huntington’s Disease Education Day
October 6 seminar is open to the public.
Dr. J. Christopher Young, clinical neuropsychologist with Siskin Hospital, will speak on "Cognitive Changes Throughout the Course of HD" at the Huntington's Disease Education Day October 6.
The day-long seminar, sponsored by Erlanger Health System, aims for better understanding and treatment of Huntington's Disease.
Other topics include an introduction to Erlanger's HD team, HD research and clinical trial updates, psychological changes through the course of HD, a mini-support group, and HD advocacy.
Featured speakers include Elizabeth Ferluga, MD; Traci Jennings, MHA, RN; and Katherine McDonell, MD.
