Charlotte Purcell talks about Telehealth Therapy Services on “This N That”
August 5, 2020
Speech therapist Charlotte Purcell, MS, SLP-CCC, described our Telehealth Therapy Services for speech on Newschannel 9’s “This N That” program.
Telehealth Rehabilitation Services are convenient and safe for patients. Patients may have health concerns that prevent them from keeping healthcare appointments, or they may live some distance away from healthcare services. Lack of transportation and pandemic concerns may also keep them from their therapy appointments.
With telehealth, patient privacy is protected through the HIPAA-compliant technology we use for all evaluations and treatment. Therapy is delivered in real-time video calls. It’s a simple process: with a click on a link delivered to their own devices, patients can connect with our therapists. We provide easy-to-follow instructions and test the process with patients before their visits. Patients need only an internet connect and a laptop, smart phone or tablet with a webcam.
