Dr. Stephan Eselgroth
Dr. Eselgroth specializes in the treatment of patients with spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, orthopedic conditions, amputations, and general rehabilitation. He is the program director for the orthopedic program at Siskin Hospital.
Dr. Eselgroth received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University. He completed his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He interned in Transitional Medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Dr. Eselgroth completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Louisville School of Medicine; Frazier Rehabilitation Institute; University of Tennessee College of Medicine-Chattanooga Unit; and Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation.
Dr. Eselgroth is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Vanderbilt’s Department of PM&R. He has served in a refugee clinic with the University of Arizona College of Medicine’s Commitment to Underserved People program. He is the past primary physician for student athletes at the University of Louisville.
