    **May 7th:

    - At this month's meeting, we welcome Noel Dillard, Massage Therapist at Siskin Hospital. Noel will talk with us about massage and the benefits it can bring to us-beyond pampering.

    - In addition to our regular time of sharing questions about symptoms we are experiencing and providing tips and help in coping, there will be a special moment celebrating our mothers-since Mother's Day is May 12.

    - Thanks to those who attended the April 22 fundraiser at the Cleveland, TN Buffalo Wild Wings. Angela Bledsoe did a great job securing this sponsor and getting the word out. Funds raised will go to the TN Scleroderma Chapter and will be presented to the Foundation at the June 8, 2013, Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk in Nashville.

    - Angela Bledsoe is also the Team Captain for the June 8 walk and has designed a great looking T-Shirt. We will be collecting sizes from those who have not already given their size. Angela's husband, Darren, is donating the T-Shirts, and we appreciate this. We'll also discuss other activities taking place before and at the walk.

    - Additional benefits of attending this meeting include the opportunity to share your personal experience and offer/receive emotional comfort and moral support. Members also have lots of practical advice and tips to help you cope with your situation. For those newly diagnosed, it can be very helpful to learn about what to expect with your situation and the tools that are available to deal with it.
    - Please contact me with any questions or if you need directions to Siskin. We hope to see you, your family, and friends at this meeting.

Please Note: The meeting will be held at the Fitness Center at Siskin Hospital. Please contact me with any questions or if you need directions to Siskin.
