    Certified Nursing Assistant/ Rehab
    Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation has limited openings for a CNA to work Full or Part Time, during First, Second or Third Shift.
    The CNA provides quality nursing care to rehabilitation adult patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The CNA will work from written and verbal instructions to administer direct and indirect patient care.
    Applicants must provide certification as a nurse assistant by an accredited program or provide proof of enrollment in a nursing program. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of Rehab Tech training must be completed within 90 days. CNAs must maintain ongoing CPR certification through the American Heart Association. Applicants must be able to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts, including PRN shifts.

    Database Analyst

    Database Analyst needed:

    Siskin Hospital needs a Database Analyst. The candidate must enjoy working in a team environment and believe that a great job involves completing a variety of duties while working with a variety of people.

    If you enjoy configuring and maintaining enterprise database applications, writing scripts to meet unique business needs and integrating and interfacing healthcare systems, we look forward to seeing your application for this position.

     

     

    Education:

    • 2-4 years of higher education with specialized training and experience with information systems required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

     

    Experience:

    • 2-4 years experience analyzing, designing and configuring enterprise database applications in a Microsoft environment.
    • 2-4 years experience installing, upgrading, backup and recovery of Microsoft SQL 2005 and 2008 databases
    • Hospital and/or healthcare application experience preferred

     

    Skills/Competencies:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to coordinate technical upgrades and deploy projects timely
    • Ability to carry out extended projects with minimal supervision and despite a wide variety of abstract information
    • Ability to provide detailed interface specifications, data mapping, testing assistance
    • Ability to take complex technical information and disseminate the information to non-technical personnel
    • Ability to code, test and debug scripts. (VBScript or ASP preferred)
    • Ability to write custom reports. (Infomaker or Crystal Reports preferred)
    • Ability to provide technical support related to system interfaces or system issues

     

    License/Certification:

    • MCTS or MCITP with SQL Server 2008 preferred
    • McKesson Horizon Patient Folder System Administration Certification preferred

    Environmental Services Supervisor

    The Supervisor of the Environmental Services Department performs supervisory responsibilities for that department.  Duties include relief coverage and staff assignment, quality control inspections, staff training, set-up for functions and other support services as required by the Director.  The Supervisor is also responsible for a portion of the floor maintenance. 

    High school diploma or equivalent required.  Formal management courses preferred.  Five years supervisory experience of fifteen or more employees in a healthcare setting preferred.  Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and floor technician methods.  Good oral and written communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills required.  Strong knowledge of infection control and safety practices.

    Mechanic I
     
    Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation has an immediate opening for a Mechanic who will perform a variety of building, electrical, mechanical, heating ventilation and air conditioning, refrigeration and grounds maintenance tasks, that contribute to the continuous operation of the facility.  Also functions as the primary advisor on mechanical systems and components. 
    The requirements are:  High School diploma or equivalent, Fifteen years maintenance related experience, electro-mehanical system operations pump and valve repair, insulation, electrical meter operation, air conditioning, components repair, sheet metal fabrication, electrical test equipment, soldering, and good communication abilties.  Knowledge of boiler (low pressure vessels) and chillers a must.  Some computer skills required.

    Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation has immediate openings for a Full Time Occupational Therapist, a PRN Occupational Therapist and a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient team to work in upper extremity orthopedics and industrial rehabilitation, as well as with neurological diagnoses.

    Physical Therapist

    Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation has an exciting opportunity for Physical Therapists to work with our Therapy Services team.  Position needs are to work at our Lookout Valley clinic located on Cummings Highway and also some afternoon shifts at our East clinic located on Gunbarrel Road.  The position will be Full Time with complete benefit package.  PRN shifts will also be considered for these locations.  The Physical Therapist is responsible for administering and directing appropriate physical therapy evaluations and treatment programs as prescribed by physician, responsible for effective communication, documentation, and demonstration of professional behavior. Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Tennessee and Georgia. Maintains ongoing CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
