15th Anniversary Campaign

T. A. Lupton, Jr. and Jo Ann Yates are heading up Siskin Hospital’s 15th Anniversary Campaign to raise $5,000,000 for the construction of new and remodeled facilities at the Hospital.
The new Outpatient Pavilion, which quadrupled the space for outpatient treatment, the Day Hospital Program, and the Community Re-Entry and Vocational Services program, opened in early 2006. The Hospital’s new Fitness Center, aimed primarily at disabled persons and former patients, will open in October 2006.
Remodeled facilities in the existing building will create a 14-bed Brain Injury Unit with separate nursing and therapy staff, convert 10 semi-private rooms to 20 private rooms, and add two rooms available to patients or families on a rental basis.
“This is such an exciting time at Siskin Hospital,” said Mrs. Yates. “Tommy and I are so honored to lead Siskin Hospital’s campaign. We have great volunteers hard at work calling on prospective donors. I know this very generous community will respond once again to the needs for rehabilitation in our area, just as it did when Siskin Hospital was built 15 years ago.”
The 15th Anniversary Campaign is the first major fund-raising effort to support significant construction at the Hospital since it opened in February 1990. Siskin Hospital remains Tennessee’s only not-for-profit, freestanding rehabilitation hospital.
